CaroMont Critical Care Tower

2525 Court Drive, Gastonia, NC 28054

Work has started on the new 146,000-square-foot critical care tower at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. With four floors, one of which will be left for future development, the tower will be used to care solely for patients who are seriously or critically ill. Each floor will feature 26 private rooms, all equipped at ICU level and in clear view from the centralized nursing stations. 

Featuring five and a half miles of cast iron piping and over three miles of copper piping, this project is a vertical expansion that is being built on top of the existing hospital. Precision Plumbing's extensive Design-Assist capabilities and budget pricing met the project's needs, and our team meshed well with the Robins & Morton design team, making us a great fit for the project. As the surrounding community is projected to grow, and the patient population for CaroMont Regional Medical Center advances in age, there is a rising need for hospital-based care that this new tower will help to meet.
