PROJECT OVERVIEW

We delivered a major multi-phase expansion and renovation program at Atrium Health Pineville, anchored by the construction of a new 8-story, 270,000-square-foot bed tower and an 8-story parking deck with capacity for approximately 750 vehicles. The tower includes 108 patient rooms and expanded operating room capabilities, forming a significant addition to the campus. Across these projects, we worked under multiple general contractors and played a key role in both new construction and ongoing campus upgrades, coordinating closely to integrate new systems with existing hospital infrastructure.

Our scope included the complete installation of plumbing systems throughout the new tower and associated facilities, including domestic water, sanitary, and storm systems, along with fully integrated medical gas systems to support critical care environments. In addition to new construction, we performed extensive renovation work across active hospital areas, including MRI, maternity, operating rooms, and dietary facilities. This required careful phasing and coordination to maintain daily operations while upgrading essential infrastructure and tying into existing systems.

A key component of our success on this program was a large-scale prefabrication effort, which allowed us to improve efficiency, maintain consistency, and streamline installation across multiple phases of work. We also completed significant relocation and replacement of aging piping systems, ensuring long-term reliability while supporting the hospital’s continued growth. From underground utilities to final fixture installation, we delivered a full-scope plumbing solution across a complex, active healthcare campus.
