PROJECT OVERVIEW
For this project, we delivered a comprehensive plumbing scope supporting both public-facing facilities and specialized animal exhibit systems. Our work spanned multiple buildings, including Guest Services, the Gift Shop, and restrooms, where we installed complete plumbing systems featuring water closets, lavatories, urinals, floor drains, roof drainage, sump systems, and water heaters. We also provided domestic water, sanitary, and storm piping systems using a combination of PVC, copper, and CPVC, along with insulation and BIM coordination to ensure seamless integration with the overall construction effort.
In addition to interior systems, we performed extensive site utility work, installing underground storm, sanitary, and water piping, as well as catch basins and backflow preventers. Our team coordinated all connections to external utility mains, ensuring accurate placement and performance through field verification. The project also included detailed plumbing layouts for each facility, aligning with architectural and engineering plans to support efficient operation and long-term reliability.
A unique aspect of this project was the integration of life support system (LSS) piping for animal exhibits. We installed specialized CPVC piping networks connecting pump rooms to exhibit systems, along with associated structural support and backfill. While equipment such as pumps and filtration systems were by others, our work provided the critical infrastructure required for these systems to function. From underground utilities to final fixture connections, we delivered a full-service plumbing solution tailored to the complex needs of a zoological environment.
