UNCC Richardson Stadium

We are proud to be part of the ongoing expansion of Jerry Richardson Stadium at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, home of the Charlotte 49ers. This major investment is transforming the stadium into a more dynamic venue for athletics, students, alumni, and the broader Charlotte community. The project includes new premium seating options, expanded fan amenities, outdoor gathering spaces, and enhanced event capabilities designed to elevate the game day experience.

As construction continues, the expansion is helping position Richardson Stadium for future growth while creating new opportunities for year-round use. The additions are expected to increase seating capacity and introduce new hospitality and event spaces that support both university activities and community engagement. When complete, the project will provide a more modern, versatile venue that reflects the continued momentum of UNC Charlotte and Charlotte Athletics.

Working alongside Barton Malow and the project team, we are helping bring this vision to life on one of the university's most visible and impactful campus projects. The updated spaces will serve generations of students, athletes, alumni, and fans while strengthening the stadium's role as a destination for athletic competition, special events, and community gatherings.
